The EM330 offers easy music playback control without even needing to open the flip--simply select and play using touch-sensitive keys that appear only when they're needed. AT&T Service
This phone provides tri-band GSM coverage (850/1800/1900 MHz) for voice as well as GPRS/EDGE connectivity for receiving data. AT&T's EDGE network offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including music downloads, full picture messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.

You'll be able to access AT&T Mobile Music, which enables you to buy tracks while on the go, access the Napster and eMusic subscription music services, stream music video, discover what's playing with Music ID song-recognition software, and find out what's hot with The Buzz music news portal.

The phone has a built-in web browser for MEdia Net downloads and mobile web browsing. AT&T's MEdia Net service enables you to receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more.

Phone Features
The entry-level Motorola EM330 clamshell phone has a 1.8-inch internal screen with a 128 x 160-pixel resolution and support for 65K colors. It's complemented by an external monochrome screen on the flip, which displays current time, signal strength, battery life, and incoming calls as well as the current playing song. Additionally, you'll find LED music playback controls just below the screen. The phone has a small 20 MB internal memory, which can be expanded via optional MicroSD memory cards up to 2 GB in size. The internal phonebook can store up to 1000 contac entries, with multiple numbers per entry as well as support for caller groups and picture/ringer ID.


The EM330 is compatible with MP3 and AAC/AAC+/eAAC+ digital audio formats. Whether you like jamming to rock, chilling to reggae, or keeping up with the latest pop tracks, the EM330 has you covered with a built-in audio equalizer to enhance the music experience. It also features preset equalizer settings for 11 types of music. If you fancy your music with a bit more bite, you can even boost the bass up to nine decibels for a booming, thumping sound. It also includes an integrated FM radio so you can keep up with your favorite talk shows and sporting events while on the go.

This Motorola phone includes the innovative CrystalTalk technology, which automatically accounts for background noise during a call and adjusts the audio quality based on ambient noise conditions to provide the optimal conversational experience. CrystalTalk also reduces the volume of the background noise picked up by the microphone during a call, making it possible to be more easily heard over the phone while in a noisy environment.

Handsfree communication is easy thanks to the integrated speakerphone. This phone also provides Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and file transfer. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server (additional charges or subscription applicable).

The EM330 offers a full range of email, text, and multimedia messaging options. It includes support for mobile email services such as AOL, Yahoo!, AT&T Yahoo!, BellSouth, and Windows Live. You can also keep up with your instant messaging buddies using the built-in IM application that connects to those same services.
